The Gulag and re-education await those who do not conform

Helen

The Labour party are a bunch of socialist control freaks, and Helen Clark is nothing more than a despot in Prime Minister’s clothing who has become obsessed with power and control.

I just thought I’d get that out before Labour pass their electoral finance bill into law and such comments become illegal.

Think I’m kidding, or that maybe my mental wellbeing is a couple of gay activists short of a Labour party caucus?

Just check out the unabashed totalitarianism of this new bill.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Labour has rushed through changes to terrorism laws in NZ, which basically turn the Prime Minister into judge, jury and executioner of anyone who happens to be accused of terrorist acts in NZ.

Finally, I hear that Labour MP Chris Carter wants to introduce new legislation around Sunday school classes that would turn them into early childhood education providers, and thus force them to meet all the regulations that impact such providers.

Such a move would open the way for the government to force Sunday school classes to teach a national, state approved, curriculum.

All that’s left is a welfare scheme which provides a free Skoda to every New Zealander.

Enjoy your freedom while it lasts.

You are right Ox. There are some very dangerous anti-democratic laws being foisted upon us.

    Cool photo of Helen !

I knew her when she was a young MP and back then she would have adamantly opposed these laws. Power often corrupts.

    God Bless

Ox. It’s concerning what this might mean for the bishops’ conference, Caritas, St Vincent de Paul etc etc etc

Oh, and PS, it’s Chris Carter, not David. Three Carters in the House does make it a tad confusing.

The Bishop’s silence on all this is rather disappointing, don’t you think ?

I mean, they are arresting Maoris and peace activists and the Bishops say nothing.

First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

Frightening stuff indeed Scribe, but then what do you expect from a socialist government?

    Yes Ox, you are right.

This is classic Marxist/Communist tactics , and will probably succeed because kiwis generally are politically naive and apathetic. How do you think this corrupt morally bereft government has managed to pass so much awful legislation over the past few years.

Chris, you mention you met Helen Clark when she was a young MP, and back then, you say, she would not have considered this type of legislation.

    Wrong, wrong , wrong.

I remember Helen when she was a screaming radical left wing dope smoking student in Wellington back in the late 60’s.

Have any of you read the book “Eve’s Bite” by Ian Wishart? This is an excellent book, and enumerates the creeping socialism that is paralysing our freedom, and corrupting the traditional moral standards of our society – once again, classic Marxism.

Helen Clark and her commie buddies were part of a secret left wing think tank back in the 70’s, and they planned back then all that is happening in our society today.

Read the book Eve’s Bite – it is a must to understand what is happening to our country, and we all must act before it is too late.

The tipping point is closer than everyone thinks. Wake up NZ, or we will lose our freedom that has been earned for us with our forebears’ blood.
Oh, and our Saviours, as well. This bunch are hell bent on destroying Christianity – but if you’re muslim or atheist , that’s okay.

One reason why we are so apathetic as a nation, is that there are now three generations who have not had to fight for their freedoms.

Often, we don’t know what we’ve lost until its too late.

    May God defend New Zealand.

I think there are forces at work, for sure – now just in New Zealand, but globally. The article, worldview wars, outlines how the humanist and Socialist/Communist forces have infiltrated the education system in order to administer their atheistic and relativistic worldview onto societies worldwide through UNESCO.

    This explains a few things:
    - why a teacher union like the PPTA is a close supporter of a left-wing party (as mentioned in the NZ Herald article).
    - why Catholic education institutions are promoting relativist ideologies.
    - why we have such a relativistic society today.

‘Good educational practice’ today, certainly in moral education, has a subjectivist foundation that rejects trust in authority, and labels as ‘oppressive’ anyone who dares to claim the truth.

The history of this process is traced in an interesting PDF Ebook called Deliberate Dumbing Down of America: a chronological paper trail (11 MB).

Prayer and discernment is needed here, I think.
